ABC Learning paper 3: Strengthening practitioners' capacity to support parents and children

Learning from the evaluation of pre-birth to age six and oral language interventions

This paper summarises key learning around strengthening practitioners' capacity to support parents and children from pre-birth to age six to improve their outcomes, under the Area Based Childhood (ABC) Programme from 2015 to 2017.

The learning is taken from a sub-study of the national evaluation of the ABC Programme, which assessed the contribution of the ABC Programme to changes in outcomes for parents and children. early years, the organisation for young children, and Dr Katrina Collins completed this sub-study in 2018 on behalf of the programme funders.
