Podcast - Key Messages for Practitioners Implementing Programmes and Services
This podcast, produced by CES in 2011, features Melissa van Dyke, an International Expert Advisor on Implementation from the Centre for Excellence for Looked After Children in Scotland (CELCIS). It outlines three lessons learned about implementation from practitioners working directly with families and children. These lessons emphasise the benefits of increased understanding of what works most effectively; learning from the expertise of others through feedback and coaching; and having access to data which informs practitioners’ decision making. This learning will resonate strongly with practitioners, but will be of interest to all stakeholders interested in implementation.
