The successful ingredients of implementing policy against gender-based violence

Resources and takeaways from the Spring Meeting of the Implementation Network of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

At the most recent meeting of the Implementation Network hosted at the Department of Justice, Ireland, panel members, speakers and attendees reflected on the successful ingredients of implementing policy against gender-based violence.

Political will, creativity, data and collaborative working were some of the ingredients which event contributors identified as essential for policy in this area to be effective.

Speakers at this event included senior officials from Ireland and Northern Ireland, leading international implementation expert Professor Annette Boaz, services and advocacy organisations. Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science and Justice, Simon Harris TD gave a closing address to approximately eighty members attending.

CES supports the network with its activities, including communications, co-ordination and event planning.
