The essential ingredients of implementing policy to enable and support our response to gender based violence.

Registration is now open for the next meeting of the Implementation Network of Ireland and Northern Ireland, which takes place on Wednesday March 1st, at the Atrium in the Department of Justice, Dublin.

This event will consider how policy can be implemented effectively in an important area, from different perspectives.

Speakers include:

  • Simon Harris TD, Minister for Further & Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science &  Justice
  • Carole Sullivan Acting Assistant Secretary of Criminal Governance and European Affairs. Department of  Justice 
  • Claire Archbold, Director, Ending Violence Against Women and Girls Strategy. The Executive Office
  • Annette  Boaz, Professor of Health & Social Care Policy at London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, University of London
  • Joan Mullan, National Manager for Domestic, Sexual and Gender-Based Violence Services, Tusla Child & Family Agency
  • Mary McDermott, Chief Executive, Safe Ireland
  • Jenny McGrath, Foyle Women's Aid.

The event will be chaired by Andy Bray, Senior Project Specialist (Implementation) at CES.

The Implementation Network of Ireland and Northern Ireland is a growing community which CES supports to share experiences of implementation and to build the capacity of people and organisations implementing services. Membership of the network is open to those working to implement policy and services.
