CES Statement on the death of Chuck Feeney

CES (Centre for Effective Services) is saddened to hear of the death of Atlantic Philanthropies founder, Chuck Feeney.

We would like to express our gratitude and pay tribute to the generosity of Mr Feeney which helped to establish our organisation in 2008.

Our purpose is to improve the lives of people on the island of Ireland by supporting the implementation of excellent public services through evidence-informed policy and practice.

Mr Feeney’s vision and commitment to creating a better future for the people of Ireland and Northern Ireland will live on through the work we do to drive change alongside our partners in public service and the charity sector.

CES Chief Executive Inez Bailey says, “The support we received from Atlantic Philanthropies was absolutely critical in helping us forge new ways of working among policy makers and service providers, on an all-Island basis. We are all better off as a result of Chuck Feeney’s support and we will ensure his legacy lives on.”
