The Implementation Network of Ireland and Northern Ireland is hosting its Autumn meeting on Thursday, October 15th from 3.00pm - 5.00pm. Open to all interested in implementation, this online session is around the theme 'Local implementation at a time of crisis'.
The session will have input from three speakers:
• Bairbre Nic Aongusa, Department of Community and Rural Development
• Elaine Gillespie, Head of Community Planning at Armagh, Banbridge Craigavon Community Planning Partnership
• Kate Beggs, Northern Ireland Director of the National Lottery Community Fund
These speakers will share their experiences of and insights into working to deliver policies, programmes and services over the past six months. There will also be opportunities for attendees to network online and to reflect on the advantages and disadvantages of rapid implementation, the facilitators and barriers to implementation during the Covid-19 pandemic, unintended consequences, and what can be sustained in the longer term.

Our role in supporting the Implementation Network
In 2011 CES established the Implementation Network of Ireland and Northern Ireland, to share experience of implementation and to build the capacity of people working in services in implementation. The Network brings together senior policy-makers, service-providers, managers, practitioners and researchers to promote learning about implementation.
