The Learning Exchange Network is delivered by a team of experienced and friendly staff from The Centre for Effective Services. We thought you’d like to meet them, so you know who to contact for help or information.
Here we introduce Mark O'Kane, chief event organiser.
Mark provides project management support for the Learning Exchange Network and is responsible for coordinating and facilitating network sessions.
Mark has been working in CES for over six years, and specialises in programme management, with experience across evaluation, research and implementation projects in the community, voluntary, and public health sectors. Outside of his work with the National Lottery, Mark has been involved with the implementation of major health programmes and policies, including Adult Palliative Care and Long COVID clinics for the HSE, and programme management of leadership development model for the Northern Ireland Social Care Council.
Having previously managed large scale legal projects, Mark joined CES in order to apply his programme management knowledge as a certified PRINCE 2 practitioner to a more impactful setting; wanting to contribute to the work of the community, voluntary and public sectors. Mark holds a Certificate in Leader as Coach from the Association of Coaching and hopes to expand his knowledge here.
Outside of CES, Mark is a keen yoga practitioner and chess player and has recently taken up gardening.
