NICE, Quality Matters Collaboration  

This resource includes tools which support collaborative working in health and social care settings. It explores how collaborative working between health and adult social care improves outcomes. Case studies from seven local areas show different aspects of collaboration across health and social care. This resource outlines steps that leaders can take to support collaboration, and additional tools and resources from other organisations.  

Improving Health Assessments for People with an Intellectual Disability(Trinity College Dublin)

This free online course aims to improve healthcare and health assessments for people with an intellectual disability. It is ideal for healthcare professionals, care providers and anyone who works with people with an intellectual disability. Content includes health and wellbeing challenges for people with an intellectual disability, best practices in communication, and performing a health assessments. The course is accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland and takes six hours to complete. 

The Enabling State (Carnegie)

This programme of research, practice and advocacy seeks to better understand a new model of public services in the UK – from the Welfare State to the Enabling State. This new report considers recent developments in policy in the UK, to understand what progress has been made and which jurisdictions of the UK are ‘rising stars’ or ‘vulnerable’ in key policy areas identified.
