Gwen has nearly twenty years’ experience working in the not-for-profit sector, having previously worked in commercial banking, and has built up a comprehensive set of skills and knowledge in financial and management accounting. Gwen uses her expertise to deliver high-quality financial services to clients and stakeholders and has enjoyed working in several organisations with dynamic and diverse team environments. These included The Immigrant Council of Ireland, TUD Students Union, Beyond Stigma and CBM Ireland, where she was the Finance Manager.
Gwen’s areas of experience include preparation of annual audits, financial statements, working to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and best practices and reviewing internal company processes to advise on and implement any changes required. Gwen holds a Bachelor of Commerce from UCD and has ten years’ experience as a qualified accountant.
Gwen is a passionate advocate for the not-for-profit sector and has also worked as consultant in smaller NGO’s where she has produced monthly accounts, and prepared Annual financial statements. She is also a volunteer Board member of Bradog Youth Services in Dublin.
