Sheila joined the CES Board in May 2018, having retired from her role as executive director of the Irish Tax Reform Group (ICTR), a role she had held since 2000. ICTR was a leadership and support organisation for Irish Charities, who through advocacy on fiscal, regulatory and charity infrastructure issues, promoted high standards of accountability. During 2016 ICTR merged with Fundraising Ireland into Charities Institute Ireland and Sheila retired from her position in December 2016. Prior to this, Sheila held a number roles including Manager of the Canal Communities Partnership.
Sheila trained as a teacher as worked both in Ireland and overseas. She holds a MA in Applied linguistics from the University of Reading and a Masters in Business Administration from the Ulster University at Jordanstown.
