Project Specialist

Annette has expertise in mixed methods research, evidence synthesis and multidisciplinary collaboration. As Project Specialist with CES her focus is delivering high quality and timely evidence informed programmes of work including research, evaluations and policy.

Annette’s background is in Psychology (BA), Applied Social Research (MSc) and Health Services Research (PhD). Prior to joining CES, she conducted a programme of mixed methods research on loneliness in older adults at the Institute of Public Health and completed her PhD in Smoking and Smoking Cessation in people with Mental Health Difficulties which included secondary analysis and primary research in hospital and community mental health settings. Beyond mental health, tobacco and loneliness she has also conducted research in areas including education, travel and media.
