Senior Project Specialist
Claire is Senior Project Specialist, in research and evaluation with CES. She provides research and evaluation design and support across a number of CES projects including the Empowering Practitioners and Practice Initiative, Reaching Out, Supporting Families and The Nurture Programme - Infant Health and Wellbeing. She also leads on the design and management of the national evaluation for the Area Based Childhood (ABC) Programme.
Prior to joining CES Claire worked as a research manager in a number of community and voluntary sector organisations. She has extensive experience of implementing and managing research and evaluation programmes as well as promoting quality research and knowledge transfer within practice environments. Claire’s research interests include research methods for evaluating the implementation and impact of services, outcome measurement and embedding evaluation processes in practice. Claire’s doctorate explored the conceptualisation and measurement of children’s well-being.
