Catherine’s area of work is practice development. She contributes to projects supporting services and practitioners to develop and implement a quality service, build capacity and promote better outcomes for service users. As part of her work in CES she contributes to the Community Operations Improvement Programme in the HSE. This programme involves CES working with the HSE to build capacity and implement change to improve community health services across the country.
Catherine’s background is in the nursing/midwifery profession. Before joining CES her most recent roles included Director of Public Health Nursing and National Practice Development Co-ordinator for the PHN Service. She holds a HDip in Nursing Studies from UCD, an MA in Healthcare Management from the IPA and an MSc equivalent in Nursing Education from UCD.
