Brianna Walsh

Brianna Walsh
Graduate intern

Brianna is involved with several CES projects as a graduate intern. She holds a BCL in Law with Social Justice from University College Dublin and during the course engaged with a range of socio-legal issues, from housing and gender to migration and childhood inequality. Following a semester studying Sustainable Development and Global Justice at the University of Antwerp, Brianna cultivated an interest in the evidence-informed planning and implementation of preventative community-based interventions.

Through varied experience in the not-for-profit sector, Brianna has harnessed skills in research, communication, and interpersonal relations. She has previously worked as a contributor to STAND.ie, an online publication addressing issues of justice, equality and international development. As a peer researcher for the UCD School of Social Justice, she facilitated focus groups examining the potential of diverse, student-centred learning in UCD. Finally, Brianna served as a Student Leader in Assam, North-East India with UCD Volunteers Overseas, co-managing teams of volunteers in the development and delivery of community partnership projects.
