Our work falls into 5 key areas
Making evidence useful for the real world
We believe that evidence belongs at the heart of decision making. Evidence takes many forms, including the experiences of citizens using public services, the wisdom of people working on the frontline, good quality data and the learning emerging from research.
Learn MoreConnecting resources and knowledge
We develop resources and approaches which join up organisations, sectors, disciplines and people. We organise networking activities to join up sectors, hear fresh perspectives and broker relationships. We are an all-island organisation and we are committed to sharing knowledge across the island of Ireland.
Learn MoreBuilding capacity to introduce change
We work with others to develop the skills, capacity and behaviours needed to sustain change and make an impact. Stronger leadership, better use of evidence and effective collaboration – all help to build capacity for change. We work with organisations to design training, support implementation and produce tools and resources so that change is sustainable.
Learn MoreSupporting Implementation to improve outcomes for people
How well a service or project is implemented will influence what it achieves. We work with government departments, foundations and agencies to support implementation of programmes, projects and services.
Learn MoreEvaluation and building capacity in evaluation
We advise on and conduct evaluations of projects, programmes and services, and help build skills and capacity in evaluation and self-evaluation.
