Collaborating on Outcomes: Funders and the Sector Working Together

Date: Wednesday 30 May 2012, 9.30am - 1.15pm
Location: Belfast Castle

This half day conference, hosted by CENI, focuses on how funders and the voluntary and community sector can work together to measure social impact.

The launch of the Concordat and recent reports from the NIAO and the Public
Accounts Committee all emphasise the importance of government and the sector working collaboratively to develop outcome measures. The event will bring together speakers from government and other funding bodies, evaluation practitioners and the sector to explore some of the issues and challenges involved as well as possible

The conference will present a series of case studies highlighting a collaborative approach to outcomes measurement which has been developed by CENI. ‘Measuring Change’ provides a practical, robust and cost-effective approach to capturing difficult to measure qualitative outcomes. CENI has successfully piloted this across a range of programmes including the Big Lottery Fund, Neighbourhood Renewal Programme and Belfast City Council. Representatives from these bodies will present their experiences of ‘Measuring Change’ and highlight the potential application of the approach.
RSVP by emailing Kerry McCarroll at kerry@ceni.org or by phoning 028 9024 8005.
