17 October 2011THE SURVEY IS NOW CLOSED.
The Centre for Effective Services (CES) was established in the Republic of Ireland in 2008 and Northern Ireland in 2010 with the aim of promoting the development of an evidence informed approach to policy and practice with those working with children, families and communities. The main focus of work to date has been in the areas of:
• Strategy and Policy Advice,
• Practice Development, Programme Design and Implementation
• Research, Evaluation and Quality Improvement and
• Information Sharing, Knowledge Transfer and Communications
CES's mission is to increase the success of services in improving the lives of children and communities by connecting the design and delivery of services with scientific and technical knowledge of 'what works'.
CES is currently undertaking a mid-term review of its impact and outcomes achieved to date. This will inform the production of a report and the development of a strategy for the next phase - 2012 to 2014. CES seeks to consult with a wide range of stakeholders across all of the fields relevant to its work.
