Project title: Supporting the Children’s Services Committees Initiative (P002)Title: Learning from the Pasts to Inform the Future Background: The Centre for Effective Services (CES) was asked by the Office of the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs (OMCYA), part of the Department of Health and Children in Ireland, to assist with, and advise on, the strategic development of Children’s Services Committees (CSCs). The purpose of CSCs is to secure better developmental outcomes for children through more effective integration of existing services and interventions at local level. The policy context for CSCs is the current national social partnership agreement, Towards 2016. This report provides findings emerging from the initial phase of the Children’s Services Committees in Ireland. |
