Knowledge Exchange
CES has a dedicated Knowledge Exchange and Communications function. The following goals have been set for our work:
Monitor: To monitor key research findings, government publications and policies, media coverage concerning children, young people, families and community (CYPFC) issues
Inform: To inform the work of CES staff and external stakeholders on latest information to improve services for CYPFC and influence policy and practice reform in areas impacting on CYPFC
Knowledge Exchange: To increase the likelihood that that research evidence will be used in policy and practice decisions and to exchange latest information with stakeholders to use in making evidence-informed decisions.
Persuade: To reinforce or change our stakeholder’s interpretation about a particular topic based on evidence
Network: To build relationships through indentifying a network of CES stakeholders in a range of external organisations
Support: To support our stakeholders on an ongoing basis to build their own knowledge and communications systems
We aim to deliver on these goals through a series of Knowledge and Communications outputs including:
- Our library
- CES Publications
- Our calendar of events and training
- CES Podcast Series
- Our newsletter
- CES E-zine
- What’s new in the field
- CES Web articles
- CES Dissemination Tools
