Careers

 

The Centre is currently concluding the recruitment of a Director who will be responsible to the Board of Directors for the management of the Centre.  Recruitment of an initial staff of up to seven personsis in progress.  The following roles have been planned:

Development Manager

Will lead a team of development coordinators and look after a portfolio of clients.

Development Coordinators 

Will deliver practical consultancy inputs to a portfolio of client organisations such as assistance to identify development priorities and mobilise required resources, briefings, training inputs, introductions to relevant networks.  Development coordinators will also play a key role in developing the Centre’s plans and procedures for service delivery to clients.

Knowledge Manager          

Will acquire, disseminate and manage knowledge and learning from clients, colleagues, expert advisors and external sources.

Office Manager   

Will have responsibility for the smooth running of the organisation’s financial, secretarial personnel administration and office systems.

Administrative Support

Will provide administrative support to the staff and management of the organisation.

The Centre will have an ongoing requirement to recruit additional development coordinators after the initial team has been hired.  Applications are welcomed from persons with experience of research and/or practice in social services for children.  They may have qualifications in education, public health, psychology, or social sciences and must be able to show a strong commitment to delivery of services based upon sound evidence of what works.
