Kerrie’s background is in Developmental and Educational Psychology. Before joining CES, she completed her undergraduate Psychology degree and her MSc in Psychology of Childhood Adversity at Queen’s University Belfast. Her Master’s degree involved studying how children facing various stressful events develop throughout their lifespan, and she also researched the education attainment gap in Northern Ireland for disadvantaged children. She has experience working with different organisations and schools that support children with disabilities and mental health problems, mainly Autism Spectrum Disorder. Through her experience with Learning SPACE, she has worked with highly specialised products designed to assist children learning to help equip parents and professionals in various settings.
